Our Programs

Asido Foundation has led over 20 Suicide Awareness Walks across Nigeria, engaging thousands in stigma-breaking dialogue. Through national campaigns and targeted community events, we've reached over 100,000 individuals challenging harmful myths and advancing the mental health conversation across the country.

Our empowerment programs support individuals living with mental health conditions through meaningful recovery and reintegration. Project Hope has helped rebuild lives in 12 underserved communities, while SUCCEED equips service users with practical life and livelihood skills. Through LIMI Africa, we amplify lived experiences as powerful tools for healing and advocacy.

The Asido Campus Network (ACN), active in 25 tertiary institutions, empowers students to lead mental health conversations on campus. Our annual JAME Essay Competition has received over 1,500 entries, sparking bold ideas and awareness among Nigeria’s youth. Through initiatives like the Envoys Fellowship, Asido Kids Challenge, Adolescent Bootcamp for Mental Health and Heralds Fellowship nurture the next generation of mental health champions.

We played a leading role in championing the Mental Health Bill, signed into law in 2023 — a historic milestone for Nigeria. Our work extends into publishing evidence-based research to drive mental health reforms, while ongoing studies continue to shape national policy and improve access to care.
